Angela Khan, the Founder and Spearhead of Hippo Campus Academy is a distinguished educator with over 15 years of experience in the field of education. Her unwavering commitment to nurturing and shaping the minds of young learners is complemented by her robust academic qualifications, which include a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Diploma in Psychology.

Throughout her career, Angela has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision, guiding Hippo Campus Academy from its inception to its current status as a thriving institution. As a facilitator of education, she has consistently emphasized a holistic approach to teaching, blending traditional academic rigor with innovative methods that promote the emotional and social well-being of students. Her background in psychology has provided her with invaluable insights into the developmental needs of children, enabling her to create an environment where both academic achievement and personal growth are prioritized.

Angela’s extensive experience as an educator, combined with her entrepreneurial acumen, has been instrumental in shaping the school’s philosophy and its curriculum. Vashree Sunder, the owner of the Hippo Campus Academy’s Cape Town branch, is a remarkable individual whose journey reflects a deep commitment to both the Education Sector and the Legal Sector. A graduate of the University of the Western Cape, Vashree earned her LLB degree in 2020. Following her graduation, she completed her articles of clerkship in 2023 under the mentorship of Timothy Colin Geoffrey’s, a respected figure in the legal community. This experience not only honed her legal skills but also reinforced her dedication to serving her community.

In addition to her legal pursuits, Vashree has been an active member of Recreeko NPC, a non-profit organization focused on Educational initiatives and feeding the hungry/homeless. Her involvement with Recreeko has allowed her to engage in voluntary teaching for homeschooled children at the Peace Home Orphanage. Collaborating with Aziza Nolan, a prominent South African public figure known for her philanthropic efforts and advocacy for the voiceless, Vashree has made significant contributions to the lives of these children. This experience has not only enriched her understanding of the educational landscape but has also fueled her passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners.

Vashree’s dual interests in law and education reflect her belief in the transformative power of knowledge.
