Thanks to the generosity of our amazing rewards partners, we’re able to help your child become a better learner.
UCT Online High School believes that collaboration is an essential way to enhance the educational journey of our learners and their parents or guardians.
By working hand-in-hand, corporations and the education sector can blaze a new trail for South African learners.
One of the ways the corporate sector supports institutions like UCT Online High School is by bankrolling forward-thinking programmes, like our online rewards platform.

The role of corporate partners
Partnerships are not just a means to an end. They’re a crucial part of UCT Online High School’s commitment to making a positive impact in the South African education sector.
Because of the generosity of corporate partners, UCT Online High School is able to implement a number of exciting initiatives including our Learning Liberated Scholarship & Bursary Programme, our Complementary Services and our Rewards Programme.
Without our corporate partners, these initiatives simply wouldn’t be possible.
Our rewards programme
Behavioural science has proven that the strategic use of game elements (things like points, levels and rewards) is highly effective in motivating learners and enhancing their engagement.
That’s why UCT Online High School has worked closely with corporate partners to put together our online rewards platform.
Our rewards programme helps to foster positive learning behaviours through a rewards system. When learners engage in good learning behaviour, they are shown public recognition via our learner leaderboard, and get access to tangible rewards by our partners.
These types of gamified programmes have proven to increase learner engagement, and can positively influence academic performance.
